Like most Australians you probably go shopping and eat out at least once a week. You go supermarket shopping to refill your fridge or cupboard. If you are not home or in a hurry you might go get some takeaway or fast food. A lot of your favourite stores are always interested to receive your feedback. The good news is that a lot of stores offer an incentive or a reward if you give it. Sometimes it will be free food. Other times it will be some dollars or a certain percentage off your next purchase.
What Feedback Will You Have to Give?
Most store feedback surveys will ask very similar questions. The whole survey normally revolves around your most recent shopping experience. While most surveys are different most will only take 5-10 minutes of your time to complete. When you receive a reward from the store for completing the survey this small amount of time you take is well worth it.
What Sort of Questions Are Asked?
Normally store surveys are divided into two sections. The first section will be specific questions about your recent visit. Commonly asked questions might include the below which normally involves a simple Yes/No box tick. Or giving a rating between 1-10 to measure your response.
- Were the staff friendly and helpful?
- How happy were you with the cleanliness of the store
- Did you find all the products you were looking for easily?
- How likely are you to return and shop at this store?
You then might have the opportunity to give open feedback. Instead of ticking a box you will have the opportunity to write freely. This gives stores really personable feedback as to individual experiences at their stores. Two commonly asked questions are “How can we further improve your store experience” or “Is there anything further you would like to comment on not already covered?”
Is the Store Feedback I Give Private?
Yes it sure is. Don’t be concerned about how your information will be used. All surveys completed will not be shared or posted by the store on their website or social media. So be as open as possible with your feedback. This is how your favourite stores can improve their products and services as much as they can for your future visits.
Always Ask For A Receipt [Important]
If you want to receive a reward for giving your feedback take note! Most stores invite you to participate in surveys via the receipt you receive with your purchase. So be sure to always ask for a receipt and see if you have been invited to participate! Some stores will select customers at random to give their feedback and specially printed receipts are a way of doing this. However if you don’t ask for a printed receipt you will never have the chance of being invited by the store to give feedback. You then can’t receive a reward.
Below is a list of popular Australian stores that have a feedback program. While it is not exhaustive the Daily Savers Club team will update these list regularly when new feedback programs are learned out.
